Automatically converts RS-232 serial data to parallel data format and vice versa.
Senses and selects parallel/serial modes, plus DCE/DTE modes.
No AC power required. Gets power from the RS-232 serial interface.
Serial data rates to 38.4 kbps.
Supports both software and hardware flow control.
Configure baud rate, parity, word length, and flow control easily with external DIP switches.
