Cipherlab Launches their New 8600 Mobile Computer

CipherLab is very excited to introduce the 8600 series mobile computer with the CipherLab Operating System (COS). Running on COS, the 8600 series focuses on typical AIDC applications that are specific to the company’s needs. It is equipped with a color display facilitating data classification by preferred colors. Its flexible designs include swappable keypads of 29 or 39 keys that can be switched when the users see fit. Weighing only 240 grams, the 8600 series allows for comfortable usage with excellent mobility.

The 8600 series also comes with proven WLAN 802.11 b /g / n and the latest Bluetooth 4.0 that efficiently deliver real-time data transmission. Versatile reader options of linear imager, laser, 2D imager and option RFID allow for favorable fashions of data collection. Along with easy-to-use software tools, such as Forge Application Generator, Remote Console and Text Browser, the 8600 series facilitates easy startup and provide more efficient IT management.

Zebra has been recognized as a Best Channel Vendor by Business Solutions Magazine for a sixth consecutive year. The company was named a winner in the  Business Solutions Magazine  technology category.

Each year, Business Solutions conducts an extensive reader survey, asking its value-added reseller (VAR) subscribers to evaluate and rate their vendor partners. Through their cast votes, Zebra’s resellers reported a high level of satisfaction with the company’s products. The global printing solution provider was recognized for earning high scores in the product features and product reliability categories.

Janam XG Series Selected by Kelli’s Gift Shop Suppliers for Warehouse Management

Janam has announced that Kelli’s Gift Shop Suppliers, a leading wholesale distributor of gift products, has selected Janam’s XG Series as the mobile handheld for the company’s warehouse management system (WMS).

Tech-Acumen, Inc., a software solution provider, designed and developed a custom Real-Time Warehouse Management System for Kelli’s Gift Shop Suppliers. The solution, which integrates with CounterPoint SQL Point of Sale software, features real-time bin quantities and a management console with real-time warehouse performance metrics. Paired with the Janam XG Series mobile devices, material handlers in Kelli’s massive warehouse can no easily perform all warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, order-picking and replenishment are fully supported with real-time data.

Zebra Printers Continue to Be Energy Star Compliant

2013-12-27_1030Zebra products are designed to provide the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to our customers, including the amount of energy our printers consume. ENERGY STAR is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) voluntary program that certifies products meeting higher standards of reduced energy consumption. Printers that are ENERGY STAR-qualified consume approximately 10% less energy than a standard product. We’re proud that many of our printers are ENERGY STAR-qualified.

As of Jan. 1, 2014, ENERGY STAR is changing its certification criteria and implementing Version 2 regulations. The majority of the Zebra printers that currently have ENERGY STAR certification will continue to be compliant with the new ENERGY STAR Version 2 regulations.
