TSC’s New TX200 High-Performance Desktop Printer

TSC has introduced its new TX200 Series, a high-performance desktop label printer designed to handle a wide variety of applications ranging from high-volume production of shipping labels to safety signage and fine-jewelry labeling.

The TX200 Series is the latest next-generation TSC desktop printer to support an economically efficient 300-meter ribbon on a one-inch core. The new printer features several firsts for TSC, including an LED multi-icon display (standard), blazing fast print speeds of up to 8 inches per second, a more user-friendly patented label-holder design, and an optional color LCD display. The TX200 Series will be available worldwide starting in Q1 2015

BarTender 10.1 Service Release 4 Now Available

Flir Announces AX8 Thermal Imager for Industrial Automation

ax8Flir has announced the launch of its new AX8 fixed-mount thermal imager. Combining thermal and visible cameras along with FLIR’s proprietary MSX technology in a small, affordable package, the AX8 is easy to install in space-constrained areas for automated and uninterrupted condition monitoring of critical electrical and mechanical equipment.

Enabled by FLIR’s ground-breaking Lepton micro thermal imaging camera core, the AX8 provides early detection of temperature-related issues in electrical and mechanical equipment, guarding against unplanned outages, service interruptions, equipment failure, and fire. The AX8 is the ideal sensing solution for continuous condition monitoring and early fire detection without the need for periodic manual scans.

Posiflex’s Award Winning HS2310 All-in-One POS Terminal

The Posiflex HS2310, an ultra-small All-in-One point-of-service terminal with a multi-touch projected capacitive screen, has been recognized for engineering excellence as a winner of the 2014 Red Dot Award for Product Design and the 2013 COMPUTEX Design & Innovation award. This 10” projected capacitive touch screen terminal comes integrated with a 3” thermal printer, encryption-capable magnetic stripe reader, WiFi and optional secondary customer displays.

The HS2310 is 60% smaller (Width 8.8” x Depth 7.3” x Height 15.2”) than the traditional terminal and printer footprint to allow use of every inch of valuable counter space. Even though this terminal is small, it supports a fast Intel D525 dual core 1.8 GHz processor with 1MB cache and up to 4GB of system memory. The HS2310, just taller than a wine bottle, runs the same software image as the widely-deployed Posiflex XT3215 and KS7215 touch screen terminals for easy network deployment. TSC’s New TTP-244 Pro Offers Faster Print Speeds at the Same Price Point

TSC has introduced the TTP-244 Pro, a four-inch-wide desktop thermal transfer label printer that is 25 percent faster than its predecessor, the popular TTP-244 Plus, yet is available at the same price point, making it significantly more affordable than comparable printers offering far fewer features.

The new TTP-244 Pro operates at speeds up to 5 inches per second and features an upgraded stepping motor that is an improvement over the already popular two-motor design of the TTP-244 Plus, whose price-performance combination has made it one of the top-selling print engines in its class.
