CognitiveTPG Debuts Bluetooth Enabled A799II and DLXi for Mobile Printing
CognitiveTPGÂ is expanding its line of mobile printing options with the entrance of its industry proven POS Receipt printers and Barcode Label printers enabled with Bluetooth connectivity.
Integrating the Bluetooth technology into the A799II POS and DLXi Label printers allows customers to connect to a Bluetooth enabled host such as a tablet, smart phone or mobile computer. The A799II and DLXi Bluetooth enabled printers pair with Windows and Android platforms, and iOS coming soon.
New Seagull Version 7.3.7 Printer Drivers Now Available
\As a provider of one of the easiest to use and most feature rich barcode label design software, Seagull Scientific goes the extra mile and even creates a host of printer drivers for a wide range of manufactures. These driver often provide better performance than the original manufacturer drivers especially when using Bartender software.
The latest version of Seagull’s true Windows printer drivers adds support for more than 50 printers from 10 manufacturers. This release also includes PJM RFID support for SATO printers, EPC Gen2 encoding support for Zebra’s ZXP Series 7 printers, and minor features and fixes.

Honeywell’s New Version of HTML5 Browser
Honeywell has updated several of their mobile computers with the new version of HTML5 Browser which can be downloaded for existing units and will currently be provided on new devices.
HTML5 Browser allows cross-platform applications that have been developed using HTML5 technology to run on a wide range of Honeywell mobile computers. This capability provides two major advantages to Honeywell and to our software development
partners:
- The HTML5 capability allows Honeywell mobile computers to be sold into applications where they have not previously been able to operate. This includes applications that are written primarily to run on consumer-grade smartphones, but where those smartphones are proving to be too fragile
- The HTML5 capability provides software developers a path forward in this time of operating system road map uncertainty. As vendors of rugged mobile devices evaluate alternate operating systems, software vendors are left to wonder how to develop for the next generation of hardware. HTML5 offers one path forward that insulates them from these uncertainties.
